Severs disease
What is it?
Severs Disease is when the heel bone growth plate becomes inflamed in a child’s foot. It usually occurs in children and adolescents aged between 8 – 15 years. The back of the heel might be swollen and tender to touch. Children will usually feel pain in their heel when walking, running or playing sport.
